I have never exercised or it’s been a really long time since I exercised. Will that be a problem?
Not at all. In fact, you are the perfect candidate for personal training. You have to start somewhere and everyone is a little different. I gradually increase the intensity and difficulty of the exercises to match your always improving body too. So the longer I work with a client, the further you’ll go and the more you’ll achieve. It’s a great feeling being able to do something that just 1 or 2 weeks ago you weren’t able to do!
I get bored easily, will the sessions vary or are they a set program?
The sessions will always be different. Never in my time as a trainer have a given the same program to a client. Variety is the key to not only keeping a person motivated but also in achieving greater results. Your body is smart and will adapt quickly to the same repetitive movements. If the programs do not change and it’s always the same your results will begin to plateau plus it can be a little bit boring. Exercise should be creative, different and exciting! Something you can look forward to rather than dread. So lots of variety- always!
Being mobile, what type of equipment do you bring to a session?
The equipment I use in my sessions consists of things such as TRX (suspension training), Kettlebells, Sandbags, Weighted vests, Fit and Swiss balls, Dumbbells, Resistance Bands, Boxing Equipment, Bosu balls and much, much more. Everything you need for an awesome workout!
My working days change weekly, are you flexible?
That’s completely fine. In fact, very common! I have all sorts of clients, some are 9 – 5er’s, shift workers, FIFO workers, business owners and stay at home parents. If your schedule changes each week, give me as much notice as you can and I’ll work my magic and make time for you. I am very flexible and nearly always have wiggle room to adjust the schedule for clients who need different times each week.
